Have you ever wondered what makes an Omelette (or omelet) specifically French? Well, in today’s adventure I will show you how to make the perfect (nearly perfect) French Omelette (after literally weeks of adventuring)! All you need is a little practice and patience then… voilà!! A perfect, light and fluffy omelette! Glad you got to see it!

What you’ll need to accomplish this omelette…
1 Tablespoon of butter
2-3 eggs
1-2 Tablespoons of milk
1 teaspoon herbs (of any kind, I used chives)
salt to taste
pepper to taste
1/3-1/4 cup of any cheese

Melt butter in large skillet and in another bowl beat your eggs, milk, herbs, and seasonings.

Once butter is melted, pour egg mixture into the pan and if you must, coax your eggs to the edges by tipping your skillet or using a soft paddle/scraper. Cook the eggs for 2-3 minutes or until the top looks almost 80% cooked (don’t worry, the residual heat will continue to cook the eggs for several minutes after they are off the heat). Sprinkle omelette with cheese and starting from the edge, use soft paddle/scraper or turning tool to roll the eggs into the classic omelette (or burrito) shape. Once completely rolled, slide omelette off the pan and onto a plate. Voilà!
