As a home cook, buying expensive cuts a meat is usually out of my comfort zone (and budget). Filet Mignon is expensive and frankly it has been a downright scary idea to adventure forth and make this in my kitchen. But this year when our anniversary dinner came around, we decided to put intimidation aside and jump in with both feet! And the results… well, you’ll just have to watch.
