If you grew up loving tater tot casserole, get ready for a serious upgrade — because this Air Fryer Tater Tot Casserole is next-level comfort food! You get all the classic creamy, beefy, cheesy goodness, but with golden-brown tater tots that crisp up perfectly in the air fryer. No soggy tots here!

This recipe is easy, family-friendly, and perfect for busy weeknights when you need dinner on the table fast. Plus, it uses simple pantry ingredients you probably already have on hand.

Air Fryer Tater Tot Casserole

Ingredients:

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • ½ onion, finely chopped
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 2 cups cheddar cheese, grated (divided)
  • About 2 cups frozen tater tots (enough to cover dish)
  • Fresh parsley, chopped, for serving

Directions:

  1. Preheat air fryer to 350°F (180°C). Place ground beef, onion, and garlic in a heat-safe casserole dish that fits in your air fryer. Cook for 8–10 minutes, stirring halfway through, until beef is browned and onions are softened. Drain excess grease if needed.

  2. Stir Worcestershire sauce, cream of mushroom soup, and 1 cup of the cheese into the beef mixture until well combined.

  3. Smooth beef mixture evenly in the dish. Arrange frozen tater tots in a single layer on top. Sprinkle remaining cheese over the tots.

  4. Return dish to air fryer and cook at for 12–15 minutes, until tater tots are golden and cheese is melted and bubbly.

  5. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot.
