What to do when your chicken is too big… Rotisserie Chicken Dinner save (Deluxe Air Fryer)
Have you ever found yourself ready to make a rotisserie chicken in your Deluxe Air Fryer only to realize your chicken is too big? You’re in luck, that is exactly what happened today! And I am going to show you how to get around the big bird dilemma and still get beautiful rotisserie chicken! I also show you how to get your chicken trussed up and into the air fryer if you do happen to find yourself a 4 pound bird.
Directions:
Cut your chicken into two legs, two thighs, two breasts, and two wings, careful to keep all of the skin. Truss your skin to your pieces if it’s coming off. Season generously and rub with oil. Place cut chicken pieces into the Deluxe Air Fryer’s rotisserie basket with the skin side facing out. Shut your basket and install into the machine. Set your DAF to Rotisserie, 400°F, for 45 minutes. At the end of 45 minutes, make sure your chicken has reached 165° in the thickest piece of meat. If it hasn’t, add more time until your chicken reaches this safe temperature.
